Modules from the Master’s in Data Analytics for Government (MDataGov) programme can be taken as one-off training with optional assessment, and credits can be counted towards the MSc degree in the future. These can usually be taken at ONS sites, Oxford Brookes University, University of Southampton and University of Glasgow.
Although modules cannot currently be taken in person at ONS sites due to COVID-19, we are working with our partners to make modules available online for distance learning. The latest course information from our partners is available below.

MDataGov modules delivered by University of Glasgow (Distance Learning)
If you are interested in broadening your coding skills this summer, University of Glasgow is offering MDataGov modules via distance learning this summer, subject to demand. The modules below are available as non-credit bearing courses (unassessed route) to home and international students.
A minimum of 10 registrations per module is required for courses to go ahead.

Summer 2020 (distance learning)
We are pleased to announce that the MSc in Data Analytics for Government (MDataGov) modules will be running as online learning from June to August 2020. (for details see modules summary below). The closing date for applications is two weeks before course starts.
The fee is £425 per course. The modules will each run over a full week, Monday-Friday from 9am until 4.00pm.
