Graduate Data Scientist

Rowan joined the Data Science Campus in October 2022 as part of the Graduate Data Science Programme. He holds an integrated Master’s (MSci) degree in physical oceanography from Bangor University, in which he worked on Lagrangian dispersal modelling to assess methods of removing garbage patches in the Pacific, and simulating Arctic tidal currents.

His degree gave him an introduction to statistical methods and computer modelling that he wishes to develop further on this programme to work on projects that will make a difference to the public.

In his spare time, Rowan enjoys cooking, bellringing, cycling and hiking.
