Graduate Data Scientist

Clara joined the Campus in October 2020 as part of the Graduate Data Science programme. She graduated from Bath University in 2018 with a BSc in Computer Science, where she did her first data science project, using accelerometer data from mobile devices to identify individual users.

After graduating, Clara began working in education, first writing KS4 and KS5 computer science resources, and then going on to teach computer science in secondary schools, getting her PGCE from University College London’s Institute of Education.

While teaching, she also took an online data science course offered by John Hopkins University, which reignited her interest in the field and prompted her to become a data scientist.
