Data Science Lecturer

Tom is a data scientist in the Data Science Campus at the Office for National Statistics, who joined in 2020 as part of the Graduate Data Science Programme. He has worked in the faculty and the Synthetic Data and Privacy Enhancing Technologies Squad, and is now based in the FCDO hub. Tom has a background in mathematics and quantitative methods in ecology, and is interested in developing novel data science techniques.

Outside of work Tom enjoys bouldering, cycling, wild swimming, and just generally being in the great outdoors!
