Debbie graduated in Psychology at the University of Malta, following which she completed an MSc in Work and Organisational Psychology (University of Hull) and a PhD in Organisational Behaviour (Loughborough University).
Debbie joined the Data Science Campus as an academic manager and is working to build data science capability across government. Debbie is involved in developing and managing the government data science learning pathway and short courses, in addition to ensuring that learning is embedded in the workplace. Debbie is also involved in developing and managing the apprenticeship in data analytics, organising Data Analytics MSc and PhD projects and working with Campus-sponsored MSc students, amongst other things. Prior to joining the ONS in 2013, Debbie worked as a lecturer in Organisational Behaviour at the University of Bedfordshire.
Debbie has extensive experience in leading course development and delivering training courses in management, research methods, statistical analysis and statistical software. Debbie also has extensive experience in survey design and analysis methodology, writing statistical programs, promoting innovative analysis techniques and developing best practice guidance.
Debbie is a chartered psychologist and is an associate fellow of the British Psychological Society and the Higher Education Academy.
