Debbie joined the ONS in 2013 and the Data Science Campus in 2017. Prior to working at the ONS she worked as a lecturer in Organisational Behaviour. She holds a PhD in Organisational Psychology from Loughborough University.
Debbie previously worked in research and statistics roles across other areas of the ONS. The main focus in her current role is building expert-level data science capability across the public sector. Current projects include:
• Collaborating with non-public sector organisations to build public sector data science capability
• Developing and organising Data Science courses for the public sector in collaboration with universities
• Organising Data Science MSc projects and PhD placements
